Rafa Marquez has finally teamed back up with his former Barcelona teammate Thierry Henry by signing with the Red Bulls this week. Though he kept his cards close to his chest throughout the transfer , he stated he was very excited at hisofficial unveiling:
“I’m really pleased to be have the opportunity of joining the Red Bulls, I see American football really growing and the national team are now becoming a big team , they looked really good during the World Cup. I had the chance to finish my contract with Barcelona,but the chance of coming to New York and playing for the Red Bulls in Major League Soccer was a chance that I couldn`t refuse.”
