New York Red Bulls v Rapids

The New York Red Bulls won a hard-earned point with a 1-1 draw away to the Colorado Rapids on Sunday despite the home side’s domination of the game.

Omar Cummings scored his fourth goal of the season after just 15 minutes for the Rapids, nudging in Conor Casey’s perfect cross from close range to give the Rapids the lead. But Juan Pablo Angel equalized for the Red Bulls with a blistering shot from inside the penalty area after 34 minutes after being left completely unmarked on a corner.Angel, who notched two goals last week,is looking to be in great form after playing an impressive game.

The Rapids had a goal disallowed in the opening 45 minutes & were unlucky not to be in the lead
when the break came, but they came out with winning in mind & had a few close misses, but as much as the Rapids tried they couldn`t find the finish they needed & the Red Bulls came away with a point
